Anticipated tallest statue of the virgin Mary to be ready 2021





The soon to be tallest statue of the virgin Mary situated in the Philippines which is about 100 meters (315 feet) high is expected to be completed in 2021 to mark the 500th anniversary of Christianity in the region.



The statue is under the authorship of the famous abstractionist Filipino sculptor Eduardo De Los Santos Castrillo who recently passed on.







The Marian Monument is committed to the unity and peace of all peoples and countries in South Asia and occupies a floor area of around 130,000 square feet.
