Catholic Bishop survives coronavirus.

Bishop Joseph Zhu Baoyu of Nanyang, China, aged 98 who fell ill with pneumonia from Covid-19 also known as the Coronavirus on February 3 has  tested negative  with reports indicating that his lungs are not hindered by any infections from the virus, a February 14 has report revealed.

The prelate battled with other medical conditions such as arrhythmia and pleural effusions alongside the virus, and was cured courtesy the efforts of thoracic drainage catheter. 

Medical experts indicate that his case is an exceptional one since the virus is proving fatal for the elderly and for individuals with other medical conditions.
this makes him the oldest survivor of the deadly virus.

Bishop Zhu went into retirement due to hard years of imprisonment and “re-education” labor along with about twenty priests and hundreds of nuns from the congregation of St. Joseph. Later, on March 19, 1995.
